Daily Show, "Unscripted"
So, the first unscripted version of The Daily Show ran last night at 11:00 p.m. It definitely showed the lack of writers, though Stewart got in more than a few zingers of his own. The show was largely about the Writer's Guild strike, and my favorite shot of the night was when he read the initials AMPTP (producers group trying to withhold internet revenues from the writers) and offered the pronunciation as NAMBLA. Google that if necessary.

And for you, a link to a free book, which must be used by 8:00 p.m. tonight. It's called Women and Money by one Suze Orman, who evidently has a great deal to say about both. She evidently has a financial advice show, and her book is available from Oprah's website. Link is here:

A lot of it seems to be suck-it-up-and-deal advice for women who aren't you, but I suspect that some of it will hit home. Give it a look, anyway. If you can't beat the time limit on the download, well, I already have. . .
