Reasonably well. Meridel's back from college, for a while. Looks like she'll be leaving to work in Japan sometime in January, and that's when the house will seem seriously lonely. Maybe by then we'll be ready for another animal. . .not sure about that, though.

The upside is that we should have a reasonably competent native guide for Worldcon this year. We stayed home from L.A. with the definite thought in mind to save money for Japan, and there's no way we're not going!
